[Adoption] Sophie The Boston Terrier Needs A Home

[Adoption] Sophie The Boston Terrier Needs A Home

We have a soft spot for little Sophie because our girl is named Sophie. This Sophie is currently with Friends of Homeless Animals, Inc. in New England and is looking for a forever home! Sophie is already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs. Does Sophie sound like a fit for your home? You can get all of her contact information via her Adopt A Pet page by clicking here. Here’s some of her information via Friends of Homeless Animals, Inc.:

Age:  4 years - Weight: 12-14 lbs - Up to date on everything and fixed.

No health issues and Up to date on Shots. Gets along with foster mom’s two Boston Terriers. Chases and barks at cats and birds. Needs some reinforcement on house training. Very food motivated, she will be very easy to train.  No Aggression. Ok with older kids.  Previous owner’s grandkids are between 10 and 12 years old. Sophie is a very sweet little girl. She needs little time to come out of her shell and when she does, she is just sweetheart. She will follow you around and a snuggle bug. Loves to give kisses. She will sit on your lap every chance she gets! She walks good on a leash. Our little Sophie is shy and needs some confidence building. She can be a great pet with little training and patience. She is not a barker but when some one comes at the door, she barks. Which dog doesn’t? She has no food or toy aggression.  Not destructive at all but loves her bully sticks:) Sophie will stay in a crate for few hours as long she has toys, treats and her bully sticks!

Sophie’s owner gave her up because she digs under their fence or jumps the fence to run away! As long she is on a leash and monitored all times when  out side, she is fine. For Sophie’s defends, if some one left me out side in a yard, I will try to scape too. World is too interesting to stay inside a yard.  Because of her history of running way, she will be better in a home with out small kids. She will be great as a city dog where she can go for leash walks and play at doggie parks.

Sophie will be great in a quite home where she will have another small dog to play with and where she will get lot of attention and love, which she craves and needs.
