Sampson is a ten year old Boston that is already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats. If you want contact information for Sampson, it can be found on his Adopt A Pet page by clicking here. Here’s some more information on Sampson, via Boston Buddies, Inc.:
Sampson is a 10 year old, 13 lb. Boston boy who was given up by his owner who did not want him anymore. Sampson had been hit by a car years ago and suffered extensive injuries to his front left leg that were never cared for. Even though he must have endured horrible pain from the multiple broken bones and torn ligaments in his leg, Sampson remains a very nice, very sweet boy. Sampson is dog and cat friendly. We took Sampson to see our orthopedist for an exam and x-rays. Because the injury is so old his leg cannot be repaired. The orthopedist asked us to watch Sampson for a few weeks and see if he seems to be in pain – he showed no pain at the vet, but we know that Bostons can be very stoic – especially at the vet! If Sampson is in pain, the orthopedist recommended amputation of the limb, but if he is not in pain and can move around well then we will leave the leg as is. Well, it turns out he’s doing great in his foster home. His foster mom reports that he is the sweetest, most well behaved little boy and greeted his furry foster siblings like a gentleman. He is housetrained and loves toys and to play. Sampson does not seem to be in any pain and actually uses his front leg a bit. At this point in time we will not amputate his leg and we are putting him up as available for adoption. He is 100% housebroken. Sampson is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and has been heartworm and fecal tested (both negative).
