Karma The Boston Terrier Needs A Loving Home

Are you in or around Colorado Springs, CO and need some more love in your life? Look no further than Karma the Boston Terrier! This sweet girl was recently saved from a rough situation and is ready to find a loving forever home. Karma is currently with the National Mill Dog Rescue, and this is what we know about her so far.

Hi there! National Mill Dog Rescue recently rescued me, here is what my dedicated care team already knows about me: I am friendly, playful and easy-going with other dogs, but I still need to be tested with different sized dogs and genders. I am looking for a home with a yard, where I can learn all about potty training and walk on a leash. Cautious but friendly around people, loud noises, and sudden movements can still frighten me. I may be shy, but I am sweet and just unsure about new things. Every day I am coming around and figuring out that I am safe. Lots of love in my forever home should make me blossom into the dog I am meant to be. Please check back soon to read my full biography! Before rescue, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with children under six years old; households with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as housetraining and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding, and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an incredibly rewarding experience.
