If you had to guess which superhero Boston Terriers look like most, Batman would be a safe guess. In most cases, the black face and pointed ears is a dead ringer for Batman is you saw a Boston’s shadow in the dark. Technically, this little guy’s name is Bruce Wayne, the man behind the mask. This little six year old comes to us from Canton, Michigan via his dad, Jason. Take a look at the photo below and tell us with a straight face that you don’t see the dark knight, Batman, himself! At least we know who will protect us should we ever need the protection.

Boston Terriers like their stuff to stay in it’s rightful place, and when it’s moved, things can get a little wild. Bruce illustrates what I’m talking about here. In fact, this video comes to iBostonTerrier.com directly from Bruce the Boston Terrier‘s page on YouTube! The video description tells you all that you need to know about Bruce and the video you’re about to watch. “Usually Bruce is really scared by anything out of place. When I moved the bathroom rug into the hallway to clean I was surprised how much he enjoyed it!”

Does your Boston Terrier mess with the bathroom rug? In their puppy days, both Sophie and Baxter were known to destroy a rug or two. Now they just lay on it while we’re in the shower.

We’ve been receiving tons of international Boston Terrier photos recently and Frank is no different as he checks in from Cape Town, South Africa! His mom, Emile, tells us, “He is 4 months old and provides us with endless love and laughter. He is our first dog, thus first BT and it would be very hard to imagine life with any other dog breed. In the photo he squares off with a live cape rock crayfish that we caught on a diving trip. He was very inquisitive and kept barking at the poor crayfish.” Good job keeping your cool, Frank, that is one big (creepy) crayfish and I’m not sure I could go nose to now with it.

Can you believe that at only 1 year and 4 months old, W [...]

Can you believe that at only 1 year and 4 months old, Wilson already knows he loves coffee. The video comes to us from Angie in Wyomissing, PA and features Wilson begging for some coffee. Angie tells us, “Every morning, my husband makes himself a cup of coffee. And every morning, Wilson will sit and whine to get some! He waits until his daddy is done, then licks the drops left in the cup like a mad man. He will stare at the cup and make those huffing noises that Bostons are soooo good at for as long as it takes his daddy to finish drinking the coffee. If daddy happens to be taking too long, Wilson will show his impatience by putting his paws on the table by the coffee cup (while giving us the evil eye) and whine a little louder.”

For those wondering if dogs should be drinking coffee, the short answer is no. I’d assume that a small amount wouldn’t be deadly but coffee contains caffeine and theobromine (found in chocolate) which are methylxanthines, which are toxic to dogs. We love the video and wanted to add a little education!

Keep up the good begging, Wilson.

Almost a year ago, we posted a hilarious photo of a very dirty Boriss in a muddy bath. Today, he’s back and this time, in the form of a tattoo! His mom, Amy, got some very special ink to feature her little baby. “I wanted to send a picture of my tattoo that my friend Tattoo artist Dave Woodard of Dallas, TX created for me. Boriss is 9 years old & my spoiled rotten baby.” We love Boston Terrier tattoos and this one keeps up with the amazing trend. Would you get a tattoo of your Boston Terrier?

These photos come to us from his mom, Jess, who tells us, “Meet Oskar, my 2 month old boy. We are in Mesa, Az and just adopted little Oskar less than a week ago. He has already stolen our heart and I’ve become obsessed with him and all things Boston!” Aren’t we all, Jess? Aren’t we all? What can we learn from the Oskars?

Today we were forwarded the incredible story that we just knew our readers would love. Remember, there despite all of the craziness in our world, there is still so much good. This story comes to iBostonTerrier.com courtesy of The Pet Collective of The Huffington Post. Here’s the story: “This story is about four Boston Terrier pups that got mange from their mother. They would have been okay, had they received the proper medical care. Unfortunately, that did not happen. It took weeks and the loss of one of the pups for the breeder to finally relinquish them to the local shelter. Too young to be adopted, they would have been euthanized had the shelter not taken steps to save them, and had a loving foster mom not stepped forward to care for the remaining three.”

There is so much more to this story. I invite you to head over and read the entire story and view all of the photos by clicking here. Also, watch the video below and have tissue ready.

The video and photos come to us courtesy of Bean’s mom, Alexis. She tells us, “Last month our favorite AHL team had a pooch party at one of the games. Bean and I are huge Checkers fans so we bundled up and headed to the Arena. Bean even made the teams video about the event! She’s excite about her few seconds of fame, but sad our team got knocked out of the playoffs. I’ve include a link to the game video and a few photos from the day.” Below is the video of the “Pooch Party” direct from the team and below that are some AWESOME photos of Bean at the game.
