[Adoption] Coastal Carolina Boston Terrier Rescue Has Quite A Few Dogs In Need Of Homes

Need a friend and near the Carolinas? We’ve got you covered. Our friend Amanda with the Coastal Carolina Boston Terrier Rescue sent us a few dogs in need of homes. Check them out and if you’re interested, contact the team at CCBTR here: http://www.ccbtr.org

First up, Max!

Max is a charismatic and energetic BT. He is full of love to give and he loves getting it back in the form of belly rubs and snuggling with his people on the couch. One of his very favorite pastimes is running the BT 500 around the yard. Max also likes to play in water, the rain, chew on bones, and tunnel under his blanket.

Max is good with children but would do best with children over the age of 5. Because he is so energetic he could easily knock a small child down.

Although Max does well with his foster fur brothers and sisters he requires supervision when meeting new dogs. Max is a dog that needs training in manners and in socialization with other dogs. His new home should be willing to take him to training and to be with him through the process. He needs his people to show him that they are the Alpha of the group but also that he is safe with them.

Max is a wonderful dog. He will bring a lot of happiness to the right family. Do you have the love and the motivation to help Max evolve into a perfect friend and family member?

Next up, Tucker! Tucker is a young male BT who insists he is still very much a puppy. He loves to play with his toys, his people and other dogs. Tucker is still learning his place in the family and sometimes wants to be the boss.He is a very energetic boy who is quick to remind us all what a joy it is to be a kid (puppy). Tucker works hard at pleasing his people and needs a home where he will get the training and discipline that he needs to become a great dog. He should have professional training or a very strong figure to teach him right from wrong. Tucker is smart, learns quickly and wants to please. That is evident in how quickly he was house and crate trained. He is a loving and happy boy that will make a wonderful addition to the right family. Are you that family?

Next up, Parker!

Parker is a handsome BT boy that came to rescue from very unpleasant living conditions that included living with many, many dogs. He doesn’t seem any the worse for it though.

Parker is a pleasant boy who enjoys going outside and playing in the sunshine. He likes to grab a plaything when he is going out the door and has recently been taking his foster Mom’s shoe out with him since it is right there at the door!!

Parker loves playing with his foster fur brother. With supervision, he is good with the toddler in his foster home but cats are an unknown. Since he is so gentle, he might very well be ok with them also.

Parker is crate trained and is working on his house training. He is almost there. He is a smart, loving boy that will make a wonderful companion. He will do well in a home with older children, other dogs or as an only dog. He will easily fit in. Would you like to fit Parker into your family?

Next up, Princeton!

Princeton is a 1.5 yr old happy fellow with lots of energy and love to give to an active family. Princeton’s family was moving out of the area and could not keep him so they surrendered him to the local animal control. Our friends at animal control quickly called us to come get him. One thing is obvious…Princeton has a lot of energy. CCBTR recommends that Princeton’s adoptive family take him to obedience training to learn basic commands and proper doggie manners! And give him lots of exercise.

Update: Princeton has adjusted very well and quickly to his foster home. He has become very attached to his 4 doggie sisters of which 2 are old and 2 are young. He benefits a lot from having one Bostie sister who is very close to his age because they are constantly in motion running around the yard and playing. Princeton would not do well at a home that does not have a fenced in yard because he has too much energy to be cooped up all day. He needs to have a lot of exercise, more than the average Boston. He has a very merry personality, is very intelligent and already knows basic commands sit, down, come, and shake. He is a very curious dog and will easily learn anything with a little patience. Princeton will make a great dog for family, couple, or just one person who has the time and energy for him.

Finally, Gabby!

Gabby is a delightful BT girl that came to rescue from very unpleasant living conditions that included living with many, many dogs. She doesn’t seem any the worse for it though. She is healthy and HW-. She does have an old eye injury and has lost some sight in her right eye but there will be no long term treatment required.

Gabby is an energetic, fun-loving BT, who isn’t shy about letting you know she wants to be rubbed and loved on. She does well with the child and the dogs in her foster home. She is house and crate trained.

Gabby’s foster Mom says she is a fast learner and after only a week, learned their daily schedule and how to use the doggie door.

Gabby loves being outside and prances through the yard before finding the perfect spot to sit and sun, or roll around in the dirt! Her foster Mom says she is very observant and can see very well with her good eye. She pounced on an ant the other day! She loves going for walks and has gotten used to her harness and leash.

Gabby will follow you everywhere and will put her front paws on you when you sit down and nuzzle or paw at your hand until you pet her. Quite cute!

Gabby is ready to move on to her forever home. She is hoping that the right family will bring her home very soon. Are you the right family for Gabby? You are very lucky if you are!!
