My name is Hank. I am 9 years old and weigh 25 pounds. I need a new home because my family no longer had time for me. I am being fostered in Denver, CO.
My family dropped me off in Denver on Monday. I was quite anxious as I knew something was going on, I accidentally got in the pool, came up, swam to the edge and shook it off. I feel like I was shaking off my old life.
My family left me here as Hootch. I would like to be called Hank now. I am ready to start a new life with a family that has lots of time for me. I love being around my foster mom more than the other dogs in the house. I am pretty mellow but do get excited when it is time to go for a walk. I only get on the furniture when I am invited. I am getting used to the crate, but prefer to roam and lay around. especially in the sun.

Housetrained? Yes.
Leash-trained? Yes. I prefer a harness.
Rides well in car? I love car rides!
Good with other dogs? Yes. There is another Boston and 2 goldens at my foster home. I get along with all of them
Good with cats? not yet tested
Good with young children? Yes!
Good with strangers? I love people.
Shy or confident? fairly confident
Barks? No.
Apartment qualified? Yes.
Any Special needs or Health Issues? I do have mild cataracts, but I am adjusting nicely to my new surroundings.
Adoption Fee: $175.00
All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.
MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who live in house, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not allowed. In these cases the leash law will be enforced.
MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, AR, and MN due to transport abilities.
